9070 FAQ

What are the cold start procedures for this instrument?

What is the minimum headspace required for O2 and CO2 analysis?

We have Portable Oxygen Analyzer model 9070 at a company that repacks nuts and candy. We gas flush the nuts (with nitrogen) to help keep them fresh. The only problem is that we have no parameters as to what range our readings should be in. Do you have any information or a chart or anything like that so we know if we have the correct amount of nitrogen in the bag? Do you have any suggestions?

Do you have a quick guide for using the 9070?

A: We have found in dealing with many customers, that the level people check for varies greatly. Some companies will ship product with up to 2% oxygen and others require the oxygen to be at ppm levels. The accepted level varies from product to product and what shelf life they are seeking. Unfortunately we do not have data in this regard.
