Q: We wish to power up the analyzers to prove out the Profibus communications between the valve boxes and our DCS (assigning addresses, etc) in the next few days. Without reading the specifics of all the operating manuals, can you tell me if there are any issues with providing power to them to perform this check. We will not have any gases available at this point in time. Also is there anything we should know in advance regarding assigning the specific addresses to the valve boxes?
