Description

The model 2000RS is the next generation of Thermal Conductivity Detector based online process gas analyzers from Teledyne Analytical Instruments. This analyzer is designed with the improved precision, sensitivity and accuracy of its predecessor, modern electronics and updated graphic user interface, all packaged into a compact and elegant chassis.

The 2000RS performs a very diverse analysis combination using Teledyne's unique gas based Thermal Conductivity Detector (TCD). The TCD sensor leverages the basic heat conductance property of the gas mixture to perform highly precise measurements.  A pair of temperature sensitive heated filament (Nickel or Gold), mounted in a detector chamber, provides the basis for the detection. When the analyte of different concentration enters the measuring chamber, a electrical signal is immediately generated proportional to the change, hence why the TCD detector is the fastest responding sensor for binary gas analysis. With the Model 2000RS, the user is able to perform gas impurity and purity analysis quickly and precisely.
